Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - RRT-NICU

Every third weekend required. PENDING MA LICENSE OK This position will be a hybrid position of Registered Respiratory Therapist and ECMO Specialist as they are one in the same at BCH. These positions will be specifically responsible for general neonatal/ pediatric respiratory critical care as well as being able to skillfully operate ECMO systems on critically ill patients.

If no assignment is available for ECMO, these candidates will back fill as Respiratory Therapists. Candidates require the following credentials: BLS PALS RRT or RRT-NPS Valid MA license as a Respiratory Therapist, but pending license ok. can get license during booking Preferred credentials: CES-P E-NPEC Needed skills/will be responsible for - Bedside pump Putting together circuit Priming Respond in less than 10 min Manage a centra mag Mag pumps Administer blood products, meds, draw labs from circuit, travel with patient, support in rooms, Changing out circuit Understand and response to clots Must be familiar with centrifugal ECMO, not roller pump ROUTINE MANAGEMENT OPERATING EQUIPMENT
