Need a commitment to work Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (depending on shift), with one other major holiday either Thanksgiving or New Years. (Our greatest holiday staffing need every year is Christmas eve/day). *MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A NICU LEVEL 4 / TRAUMA 1 FACILITY *Can be at a mixed adult/peds facility, children’s hospital is preferred *NO SCHEDULING REQUESTS ALLOWED, NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING. RADY MUST BE TRAVELER'S #1 POSITION. Traveler must not be working another job if they submit to Rady Position / Specialty: RRT Disciplines REQ: Seeking strong pediatric ICU skill set; therapists who can jump in and work across at least two of the three ICUs including a Level IV NICU, Level I PICU, and/or the Cardiothoracic ICU Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ:
Weekend shifts per contract: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. It will be 2 full weekends in a 4-week schedule block. Scheduling blocks are 4 weeks long. They try to schedule staff and travelers every other weekend off, if possible, but not guaranteed. National Certs: NBRC – RRT, BLS, PALS, NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date. BLS REQ: Y Is on-call REQ? N Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y Floating Req to Sister Facilities: N Open to accommodating block schedule? N – no scheduling requests allowed Locals accepted: N Pending State License accepted: Y RTO Restrictions: 6 days max Guaranteed Hours: hours are guaranteed after the call off policy has been met Special

Experience with trachs and vents, suctioning, and oxygen. No specialty or blood gases needed.

NRP (AHA) - Must be Advanced; Essential no longer accepted. Must have in hand or registered for an Advanced class in which they will have in hand prior to start date. Patient Population: Pediatric care from acute care on the floors, pulmonary floor (treating pts with asthma, bronchiolitis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, cystic fibrosis, tracheostomy-ventilated support), trauma, Medical (treating pts with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia), PICU (treating mostly intubated pts and therapies including specialty gases heliox/iNO), NICU and CTICU where heart transplants are performed. High acuity Level 4 NICU. High acuity patients on floors.
