BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center Position Details:Day Shift Hours: Mon – Fri at rotating shifts between 7am & 4:30pm with two Saturdays a yearLocation: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced medicine Building with the option to also rotate to our South County, Highlands Screening Center , or the Mammography VanPerforms screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
RT (M) Certification – preferred but not required Willing to Train for Mammography (M)!!!

Role PurposePerforms diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. ResponsibilitiesPrepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
