Respiratory Therapist - Springfield, MA Contract Duration: 19 weeks Contract Dates: 11/01/2026 – 03/15/2027

PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

5 × 8-hour shifts per week Hours: 40 hours per week; 48-hour weeks may be available for candidates willing to be flexible Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend On-Call: None RTO: No time off over Christmas will be accepted.

Certification: RRT preferred; CRT candidates with critical care experience in the ED and ICU will also be considered.

At least 1 year of acute care respiratory care experience preferred. BLS: Required. NRP: Preferred.

Key

Provide respiratory care in acute care settings. Support critical care areas, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Assess and monitor patients requiring respiratory support.

Administer respiratory treatments and manage respiratory equipment as needed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and effective patient care.
