Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Day Shift
We are seeking an experienced Infusion RN to provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy, including chemotherapy. The ideal candidate must have recent infusion clinic experience and a strong background in oncology nursing. Responsibilities Administer infusion treatments and chemotherapy safely according to physician orders.
Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage complications. Access and maintain IV lines and infusion devices according to established protocols.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects. Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC EMR system. Follow infection control, medication safety, and oncology care standards.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. Requirements Current and valid California RN license. Current BLS certification.
Required chemotherapy certification. Recent infusion clinic experience. Recent chemotherapy administration experience.
Minimum of 4 years of acute nursing experience in an oncology setting . Experience using the EPIC EMR system.
