Behavior Therapist (BT or RBT) – Kindergarten | Denver, CO AreaPediaStaff is seeking a Behavior Therapist (BT) for a full-time, school-based position in the Denver, Colorado area. This position will provide individualized behavioral support to in a K–8 school setting. This is a great opportunity for a behavioral professional who enjoys working one-on-one with younger students and helping them develop the behavioral, social-emotional, and self-regulation skills needed to be successful at school.

Position DetailsPosition: Behavior Therapist (BT)Location: Denver, CO areaSetting: K–8 SchoolAge group: KindergartenSchedule: Monday–Friday, 5 days per weekHours: 37.5 hours per weekPay: up to $37 per hourRequirement: Must have a current OR expired RBT certificationFull-time, on-site school positionResponsibilitiesProvide direct behavioral support to a Kindergarten student throughout the school dayImplement behavior support strategies and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by the educational and behavioral teamUse positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavioral strategiesSupport development of appropriate classroom behaviors, self-regulation, communication, coping, and social skillsAssist with classroom routines, transitions, and participationCollect and document behavioral data to help monitor student progressUtilize appropriate prevention and de-escalation strategies when neededCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, and other school-based professionalsHelp maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environmentQualificationsCurrent or expired Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification requiredPrevious experience providing behavioral support to children preferredSchool-based, pediatric, ABA, or special education experience is a plusComfortable providing individualized support to an elementary-aged studentStrong communication, patience, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary school teamWhy Work with PediaStaff?
