35 hours per week Start Date: As soon as Cleared by HR to Start End Date: Anticipated 6/18/27 Work Arrangement: In Person Compensation is customized based on experience, credentials, and travel eligibility and will be discussed prior to district submission. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan and more Licensure & CEU Reimbursement Referral bonus program Ongoing clinical management support Experienced recruiter advocacy throughout your assignment Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Responsibilities Evaluate students to determine functional performance and eligibility for occupational therapy services. Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings. Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and functional school participation skills. Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and assistive technology when appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
Monitor student progress and modify intervention strategies as appropriate. Support students in accessing the educational environment and curriculum. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license NBCOT certification preferred or required based on state requirements. Previous school-based pediatric experience is preferred. Experience with IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
