General
NY license/certification/ school certification Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Completion of BACB-required initial RBT training, competency assessment, and certification examination. Training covers ABA principles, data collection, behavior reduction, skill acquisition, ethics, and professional conduct.
Ability to pass state and district-required background checks. Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles preferred.
