ESS Clinical is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in partnership with Aurora Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year. Provide professional nursing care to students in accordance with state laws, district policies, and nursing standards. Assess, evaluate, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs).
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform health screenings, vision and hearing screenings, and maintain accurate health records. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and emergency interventions as needed.
Collaborate with administrators, teachers, special education teams, families, and healthcare providers to support student success. Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community. Ensure compliance with state immunization requirements and public health regulations.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, and district policies. Requirements Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing. Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active Colorado RN license through DORA or an eligible multistate RN license Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) License School Nurse endorsement (ages 0–21)
