As a Registered Nurse in a school clinic, you bring clinical expertise to support student wellness, respond to health concerns, and help create a safe learning environment. What You’ll Do Provide day-to-day nursing care in the school clinic Administer medications and monitor student health needs Assess and respond to illness or injury Support communicable disease prevention protocols Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA/FERPA compliance) Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate student health concerns and determine appropriate care What We’re Looking For Active Texas RN License (Required) Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards Pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred (not required) Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Basic knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention Current or willingness to obtain BLS or CPR/First Aid (role dependent) Compensation & Benefits ESS Clinical supports you as a whole professional — not just a position.
