Position Overview Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities in a structured, supportive school environment.
Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons that address students’ academic, developmental, behavioral, and functional needs. Monitor student progress, maintain appropriate documentation, and adjust instructional strategies to support individual goals and growth. Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff to create a consistent, student-centered approach to learning and development.
Qualifications Master’s degree preferred Valid New York State Teacher Certification required; Special Education Certification preferred Prior experience working with students with disabilities strongly preferred, along with strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
