Intervention Specialist – Educational Empowerment Group Openings: 2 Assignment Start: As soon as possible Assignment End: To be confirmed
Full time, 37.5–40 hours per week Bill Rate: $74 per hour Grade Levels: High school, grades 9–12 Locations: * Engage High School – Dayton, Ohio * One school location * Central High School – Columbus, Ohio * Supports two schools located a few miles apart Student Population: * General education students with varying disabilities * Primarily students with specific learning disabilities, other health impairments, and behavioral needs Service Model: * Approximately 90% pull-out/direct small-group services * Approximately 10% push-in support as needed Caseload: * Approximately 15–20 students * Caseload cap of 24 students
* Manage the assigned special education caseload * Provide direct and small-group instruction and services * Provide push-in support as needed * No paraprofessional supervision * No additional school assignments beyond the special education caseload Required Credentials: * Ohio Intervention Specialist license or supplemental Intervention Specialist license * Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, behavioral, eligible out-of-state, or pending Ohio credentials may be considered Additional Details: * Candidates must be prepared to begin as soon as possible. * Columbus position requires travel between two nearby school locations. * Contract execution is required before candidates can be prioritized and submitted.
