TVI Needed for 26/27 SY! Start: 8/31/26 End: 6/17/27 Hours: Full-time (ideal) but will take part time. Caseload is tough to say, as the team may redistribute based on candidate strength/skills. Additional Details:
There are already 5 TVI’s and 1 O/M on staff – it will most likely be a cluster of schools (typically geographically organized within Harford County) where the TVI can go and provide vision services as identified in the IEP. They can attend all IEP meetings virtually to minimize travel away from students/supports.
As we get closer a more tangible caseload will be established – but will really depend on their level of their braille skills (or not) and we can assign based on their strengths. If they are exceptional at Braille, then they can be considered more locally placed at one of our regional vision schools. Hours: Typical hours are 8 hour day (with ½ lunch). Additional Info: We honor all PD days for contractors alongside our internal staff, they would only be off when schools are closed for break/holiday/weather.
