Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 2 years of current SICU experience and MD or compact RN license. Details Surgical ICU setting at a Level II Trauma Center Cares for ICU and post-surgical patients including trauma, vascular, GI, ortho/neuro spine, general surgery, transplant, and oncology cases Night shift 12-hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend commitment of 3 out of every 6 weekends per 6-week schedule Floating required to areas of like skill set, including other ICUs and IMCs Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active RN license (MD or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience required At least 2 previous travel assignments required Epic EMR experience required Experience in a Level II Trauma Center required Critical Care Certification and trauma course preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to a diverse surgical ICU patient population Holiday coverage required as needed Local candidates accepted at the same rate
