Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) night shift position requiring 2+ years of SICU experience and an active MI license. Details Surgical ICU unit within a 324-bed medical center offering Level II trauma care Night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:42p-7:12a) Three weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday) No on-call requirements Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active MI RN license required, Nursys or LARA verification must confirm active status Compact license not accepted Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of SICU experience required Epic EMR experience preferred Prior travel assignment history preferred Skills checklist pertinent to ICU specialty, current within 1 year, required Two completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years required Additional Information Perform integrated pre- and post-operative critical care nursing functions using the nursing process Assess patients' physical, emotional, psychological, and social needs along with family support Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care based on patient needs Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement total patient care Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested during the assignment Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration Local candidates limited to one travel assignment
