MaineGeneral Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role (4 days/week) offers a unique balance of autonomy, clinical collaboration, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults regaining their independence. What You’ll Do: Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physical therapy needs Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions Document subjective, objective, and assessment findings and monitor progress toward goals Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and equipment Collaborate on discharge planning and connect patients with ongoing supports and adaptive tools Supervise and delegate care to Physical Therapist Assistants in accordance with licensure standards Work with a high degree of autonomy while being part of a supportive clinical team What We’re Looking For: Licensed (or eligible) Physical Therapist in the State of Maine Strong communication and problem-solving skills Interest in working with older adults in a skilled nursing rehab setting Passion for helping others regain mobility, function, and confidence New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply!
