To Be Confirmed Contract Duration: To Be Confirmed Guaranteed Hours: To Be Confirmed Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing travel contract at Signature HealthCARE of Roanoke Rapids in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina! This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting while experiencing the charm of northeastern North Carolina.
Position Overview You'll provide physical therapy evaluations and individualized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other conditions affecting their mobility and independence. Working alongside an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you'll help residents regain strength, improve balance and mobility, reduce fall risks and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and balance activities Address strength, mobility and functional limitations Assist patients with transfers and mobility training Implement fall prevention and safety strategies Work with patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions Collaborate with nursing, OT, SLP and other rehabilitation professionals Participate in discharge planning and patient education Maintain accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license or applicable PT Compact privilege Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills About Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina Located in northeastern North Carolina, Roanoke Rapids offers small-town charm, affordable living options and convenient access to both North Carolina and Virginia.
