$2,475 Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week skilled nursing assignment at Saluda Nursing Center in Saluda, South Carolina, offering an estimated $2,475 per week! This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys helping patients regain mobility, strength and independence while experiencing the welcoming atmosphere of a charming South Carolina community. Located in western South Carolina between Columbia and Augusta, Saluda offers peaceful small-town living, beautiful lakes, outdoor recreation and convenient access to larger cities for weekend adventures.
About Saluda Nursing Center Saluda Nursing Center is a skilled nursing facility serving patients who need nursing care and rehabilitation services. This assignment, through Broad River Rehabilitation, offers the opportunity to provide individualized physical therapy to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other conditions affecting their mobility and independence. Position Overview As a Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility, you'll evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological and other conditions affecting strength, balance, mobility and functional independence.
You'll develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to help patients achieve their recovery goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and balance activities Assist patients with transfers and functional mobility Address strength, endurance and mobility limitations Treat patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions Implement fall prevention and safety strategies Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and home exercise programs Collaborate with nursing, OT, SLP and other rehabilitation professionals Participate in discharge planning and maintain accurate documentation Qualifications Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license or applicable PT Compact privilege Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team About Saluda, South Carolina Located in western South Carolina, Saluda is a welcoming rural community known for its peaceful surroundings, Southern hospitality and proximity to beautiful lakes and outdoor recreation.
