Details Non-clinical elementary school setting in a center-based Significant Support Needs (SSN) program Serves students in grades K-5 with significant support needs Caseload of approximately 10 students Manages and trains 5-6 paraprofessionals in the classroom Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Full-time position at 40 hours per week Requirements CDE license required if applicable Special education teaching experience required Experience writing IEPs required CPI training required within first 90 days of assignment Preference given to candidates with SSN teaching experience Preference given to candidates with ELL training and/or ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education (LDE) endorsement Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting clearance required Additional Information Responsible for managing a classroom of students with significant support needs Provides training and oversight to paraprofessional staff Fingerprinting clearance process should be completed promptly upon contract signing
