Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with NY licensure, requiring float capability to Stepdown and strong cardiac and wound care skills. Details Work in a Med Surg/Stepdown Unit setting Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 Day/evening shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, preferably Friday through Sunday Floating to Med Surg required Every other weekend and holiday shifts required Uses Paragon EMR for charting Requirements Active NY RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start Minimum 2 years of current experience required Strong IV skills required Experience with cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem) and reading EKG/tele strips required Experience with all types of wound care required Travel nursing experience preferred Flu vaccine or signed declination accepted, mask required if declining Additional Information Provide nursing care across Med Surg and Stepdown patient populations Complete an additional 8 hours of CEUs as part of facility orientation Candidates with experience in Cardizem drips and tele strips may be considered with less overall experience
