Required Every other weekend is required, or more depending on department needs. 6 weekend days per schedule period. Sunday night is not considered a weekend. Floating is mandatory based on facility needs.
Mandatory floating between ARU and DOU, with patients assigned within the nurse's scope of practice. Telemetry and MS/Telemetry travelers should expect to float to DOU within their scope of practice. A pediatric unit assignment may be required when needed.
