Instrument Processing Technician I – Travel Location: Jacksonville, FL Job Title: Instrument Processing Tech I Contract: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours/week Schedule Options Mon-Fri 2245-0715 5 openings for Mon-Fri 1445-2315 40 hours per week Requirements Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experience Hospital instrumentation experience preferred CRCST or CBSPD required High school diploma or GED Basic computer knowledge Strong interpersonal and communication skills Responsibilities Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, sterilize, store, and distribute reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
Clean and reprocess reusable surgical equipment, instrumentation, and scopes according to manufacturer guidelines. Maintain inventory and storage of processed supplies. Support the surgical team in the sterile core and procedural areas.
Work under the supervision of Central Service leadership and collaborate with the operating room team.
