REQUIRED: 5+ years related experience. May consider less experience for a lower rate Rotating Shift A Brief Overview: Performs those tasks directly related to preparing and maintaining anesthesia supplies and the equipment for surgical cases. Assists Anesthesiologist with patient care during procedures.
- At the start of shift, responsible for reviewing the daily maintenance of anesthesia supplies and equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Support Anesthesiologists when requested in Cath Lab, Labor & Delivery, and ER. Ensure anesthesia supplies and equipment are available and in working order in labor and delivery.
- Evening Tech will support evening crew as well as restock anesthesia carts and prepare OR suites for next day.
- Responsible for setting up, cleaning and turnover of anesthia machines and cart to prepare for next procedure. Also responsible for recordkeeping in relation to work completed.
- Works with Materials Manager and medical supply to insure ordering of all anesthesia supplies and equipment. Education
• High School Diploma or GED Required Experience
- Anesthia Technician certification Preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
