Night Shift. This is a .3 role. Only looking for 1 shift per week.
MUST HAVE CNA AND SCRUB EXPERIENCE. Must have EPIC experience. Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977.

Provides assistance in providing patient care during labor delivery and recovery. Performs surgical scrub duties maintains acceptable levels of supplies and provides turnover of patient areas. Assists in the operating room with obstetrics related surgery.
Assists with patient care before and after surgery. This position is represented by SEIU. Job
Education and Work
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate?s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification: Preferred Basic Life Support BLS?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Department Specific License/Certifications: Certified Nurse Assistant CNA: Required
Assists in preparation of patient rooms. Opens sterile supplies and sets up for procedure utilizing aseptic technique and checking integrity of sterile packaging. Assists the surgical team during operative procedures providing needed supplies and instruments in a timely manner.
Participates in the timeout on each case. Assist nursing staff in deliveries as directed by nurse: preparation positioning transports transfer and discharge of patient. Collects urinalysis UA specimens.
Takes and records maternal vital signs weight height and intake output IO measurements. Performs personal care services and assists with activities of daily living for patients in providing general care. Prepares positions transports transfers and discharges patient.
