Assist the cardiologist in performing all aspects of invasive procedures including right heart monitoring myoendocardial biopsies left heart catherizations and interventional procedures. Responsibilities Enter patient information into Cath Lab computer system monitor patient throughout the procedure and document all parts of the procedure in the Cath Lab hemodynamic system. Monitor patients throughout procedure include pre and post procedure.
Communicate vital patient information to physician i.e. blood pressure heart rhythms. Operate equipment appropriate for procedure (fluro equipment film processor and/or filmless system defibrillator monitoring equipment and interventional devices). Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion with accuracy.
Prepare trays and room for procedures. Prepare patient for procedure explain procedure and provide procedure instructions. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology pertaining to cardiac patient.

Aid in the transport of patients to and from the Cath Lab to expedite timely operations of the department. *Performs other duties as assigned. *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Education and Knowledge Requirements Completion of an accredited technical program is required. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Science preferred. 2 years of experience is required.
ECMO experience preferred Licenses and Certifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required.
