2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS General Skills and Work Setting

16- Bed Operating Room with a variety of surgical specialties including General, Urology, Robotics, Colo-Rectal, Endo, Neuro, Gyn, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Total Joints, Plastics, Vascular and Open Heart. Vascular and Open Heart skills not required as these specialties have their own teams. Case Cart, Scrub, High Level Disinfection and Aseptic technique required; Equipment required DaVinci XI, Stryker Endoscopy, Olympus Urology, Depuy/Synthes Ortho and Zimmer Biomet Ortho Ratio / Census: 16 Rooms; Daily Case Volume around 35 Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Scrubs provided by facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: 2–3 weekends per 8 week schedule, either in-house or on call Floating: Rare, but within facility/scope of practice as needed Call

  • 2 weekend shift Call shifts are either C1: 7 p.m.–7 a.m. or C2: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Additionally, you will take 2–3 weekday night call shifts during the same 8 week period. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
