Days 1030a start, 3x12s, night, weekend, and holiday call required in rotationsCertifications: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSAUnit Notes: ***MUST have Cerner experience*** ***ALL MYJOURNEY MODULES NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. TRAVELER WILL BE PUSHED BACK IF ALL MODULES ARE NOT COMPLETED. NO EXCEPTIONS*** - Unit: OR - Certifications Required: BLS and CST - Number of OR Rooms: We can run 8 rooms a day plus 2 Heart rooms for a total of 9
10. - Cases per day: On average, we range from 23
25 cases per day - Types of cases: General surgery, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, Urology….we pretty much do everything here except Trauma (even though we have our fair share of stabbings, gunshot wounds, MVAs etc. We also have a strong Open Heart Surgery program and our CVOR is where we could really use some support. - Tech Support: If scrub OR nurses are too hard to find, we could use 2 scrub techs with CVOR experience to work the mid-shift beginning at 1030am. This could be 12 hours or 8 hours. Please keep me posted. We are willing to be flexible. - Charge Nurse on Staff: yes - Normal Hours/shifts: 12 hour shifts. - Call required: 4
