Sterile Processing Tech *Temp to Perm Opportunity*

  • 3x12s 7a-730p Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Holiday rotation Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: yes *May be required to float or be permanently switched to to CSC, ART, or West Campus Years of experience REQ: 2 year’s experience. First-timers accepted: No Level 1 Trauma experience-required Experience required:- Sterilization, Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience Types of cases (experience) preferred: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, Transplant, GYN National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA BLS REQ: not required Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted rate RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be provided at time of submission. No RTO will be approved after contract is signed. Approval based on dept needs Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
  • No more that 2 callouts unless they have a doctor note. 3rd callout time to be removed.
  • no more than 3 tardies
  • If holidays are not requested in the RTO and we are open, then traveler is expected to work.
  • They will be added to the Inclement weather team A or B. Expectations will be provided by management Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Parking Cost: Nights and weekends only. One-time payment of $20 for parking pass Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September
