Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician ORT. The position supports the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team within a hybrid catheterization laboratory environment. The role performs surgical technology duties, participates in a rotating call schedule, and requires current cardiovascular operating room experience and Colorado licensure.

Job Details Required

Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program; certification in surgical technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); current Colorado Surgical Technologist (CST) license through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); at least 1 year of current Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); current influenza vaccination required, with no exemptions accepted.

Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification.

Four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule; 40 hours per week. Additional Information: The position is part of a hybrid catheterization laboratory team. A resume and skills sheet documenting Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, Colorado Surgical Technologist (CST) licensure through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), and proof of current influenza vaccination are required with submission.
