- Surgical Unit. This 45-bed unit provides care for patients with a variety of cardiac and medical conditions while offering nurses the opportunity to develop strong telemetry, assessment, and acute care skills in a collaborative environment.This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, value teamwork, and are comfortable managing a diverse patient population while delivering exceptional patient care.Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and care for cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical patients Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered interventions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure quality patient outcomesRequirements Active RN license or ability to obtain Florida RN licensure Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 4 years required Compact RN license preferred for eligible candidates BLS certification required within 30 days of hire ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying patient acuityWhy Join This Team?
