Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 Length: 16 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and ACLS/BLS certification. Details Acute care hospital setting in the Telemetry unit Patient ratios of 1:5-6 Night shift schedule (3x12, 18:45-07:15) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Float required within scope to 2 South, MS Tele, 3 South, 1C, and to Shiloh Memorial Hospital and other Memorial Hospital units EPIC charting system used Requirements Active IL RN license required in hand at time of consideration ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience required Experience with STEMI/NSTEMI care and CHF management required Pre and post cardiac catheterization care experience required Cardiac drip management required, titration skills preferred Experience assisting with bedside procedures including line insertion and thoracentesis Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management IV therapy and phlebotomy skills required EPIC charting experience required Additional Information Provide direct patient care including cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and medication administration Magnet-designated facility with 222 staffed beds Navy scrub color required Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed within a 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler to any BJC facility Travelers may stay up to 18 months with a required 3-month break in service after that period
