Details Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30 Weekend coverage required Float required Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history Requirements Active CA RN license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent experience required Required
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS CPI Blue Card preferred (required for ER and Float Pool nurses) Prior travel experience required Two supervisor references required Epic charting system experience required Additional Information Provide telemetry nursing care, including cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias Experience with skills such as IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, and interpretation of ABGs is relevant to this unit Familiarity with neurological and cardiovascular care, including CVA, craniotomy, and post cardiac cath management, is beneficial Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous staff must be gone a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
