Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 25, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 5 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry with 2+ years of acute care experience and Epic proficiency for a day shift position requiring every other weekend. Details Med-Surg/PCU mixed acuity unit with 9-14 beds Patient ratio of 4-5:1 Mixed acuity general med/surg diagnoses RN reads telemetry and titrates limited medications such as heparin Utilizes skills including EKG, trach care, PCA, wound vac, and feeding tubes as needed Uses Epic EMR Day shift 6:45a-7:15p Every other weekend required 36 hours per week over 3 shifts Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to coordinate care Provides patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and may serve as a mentor/preceptor Works within a team-oriented environment with helpful peers Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
