12-hour day shifts Contract Type: Travel Nursing Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week listed; 36-hour option may be available Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday Call Requirement: None, unless picking up an extra shift Charting System: Cerner Trauma Level: II Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a busy hospital setting. Recent experience caring for post-cath lab patients.
Experience managing TR Band compression devices. Experience caring for post-cardiac surgery patients. Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Active nursing license required at submission. 29-bed unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 during the day through 11:00 p.m.; 1:5–6 after 11:00 p.m. 24/7 central telemetry monitoring and rhythm-strip support. Charge RN takes a modified patient assignment.
Nursing assistants available, with ratios varying by shift. Respiratory therapy available 24/7. Floating may be required based on census.
Block scheduling may be considered based on unit needs but is not guaranteed. Friday/Saturday/Sunday scheduling option may be available. Cancellation policy permits the client to cancel up to 12 hours per 13-week contract.
