Unit: Cardio Thoracic / Telemetry

12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

Minimum 2 years

BLS (AHA) required; ACLS recommended Patient Ratio: 1:5–6 on nights Unit Capacity: 70 beds Patient Population: MI, CHF, A-fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD placements, lung surgeries, chest tubes, and general medical overflow

EKG interpretation, telemetry monitoring, medication titration, and general nursing skills Drips: Cardizem and heparin EMR: EPIC Orientation: 12 hours non-billable Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation required Floating: Other general medical units Call Requirement: None currently Scrubs: Any color; no cartoon or children's prints Submission

Requested time off, active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has started, and a negative drug screen for all panels Local Rate: Applies to candidates living within 50 miles, with a $25 reduction to regular and overtime bill rates Call-Off Policy: Up to 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty or shift payment requirement.
