Therapy/Rehabilitation - Audiologist

Driscoll Children Hospital in RGV needs a Traveler for Pediatric Audiologist. Will work in the RGV must have Peds experience The audiologists will be cross trained with all aspects of the department within their 90 days of employment, longer if needed. During training, they will be learning inpatient and outpatient.

Once ENT clinic and practice are operational, it will be mostly outpatient services, but will float to the hospital for in-patient services such as new born hearing tests if needed, especially if on-call. Outpatient services Behavioral evaluations (Conventional, VRA, CPA) Hearing aids Bone Conduction Hearing Devices Cochlear Implant Objective evaluations Natural sleep ABR, ABR sedation and anesthesia No Vestibular at l at this time.

Day shift, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Once ENT clinic and/or practice are operational, there will be an on-call rotation on the weekends. On-call staff are not required to be on-site but must remain accessible and available to report to work if needed.

Ideal candidate will be an experienced pediatric audiologist; however, we are open to recent graduates with pediatric rotation experience
