Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. May also complete medical necessity reviews for requests for durable medical equipment and supplies as well as develop coverage criteria, maintain provider manuals and assist beneficiaries and providers in obtaining necessary services.
