Therapy/Rehabilitation - PT Outpatient

Shift: Days

• Schedule is negotiable - hours between 7:30-6:00 with 4-10's and/or 5-8's, possible weekend coverage planned in advanceCertifications: BLS CertificationUnit Notes: This PT would primarily work in acute care, covering mid-level critical care floors, med surgical floors, and ortho floor, occasionally covering an evaluation and/or treatment in inpatient rehab. Lufkin hospital will have a team of 6 PTs on weekdays and one to three PTs on weekends. Livingston will have just one PT at all times for the most part. Here is the breakdown:
• 11/16/26 through 12/13/26 would be in Lufkin; this period might involve working weekends.
• Then we would move the clinician down to Livingston to cover 12/14/26 through 1/9/27; this period would not involve weekends but the clinician would be the only scheduled person there.
• A PT that is efficient, so no one that I will have to coddle or teach the ropes to from a new grad perspective.
• A person who is willing to treat in an inpatient rehab unit inside the hospital...90% of work will be on the unit. The other 10% will be in an ortho unit close to the IRF and maybe some med surgical floors.
• The job is mainly 8-5 M-F. We can flex some weekends if interested and it is a win/win for the therapist and our facility..
• We have a 6 man PT team that the PT will be a part of, so there will be other therapists. We staff SLP and OT as well.
• I expect the PT to take 4 pts on IRF and complete documentation in 8 hrs.
• We need 22 units per 8 hour day.Guaranteed Hours: N/A
