Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 19, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with ARDMS certification and 2+ years experience, including pediatric scanning ability. Details Hospital-based imaging setting with offsite float coverage at an affiliated healthplex 2 rooms with 2 Samsung ultrasound machines Caseload of 12-15 scans per tech per day Pediatric patient population with a high volume of abdominal/stomach cases EMR system is Epic Monday through Friday schedule, 1500-2330 No weekend shifts, but on-call required with flexibility to pick up additional shifts as offered Holiday coverage worked into the schedule Floats as needed between Inova Alexandria Hospital and offsite locations 1 week floor orientation provided Requirements Current BLS certification through AHA ARDMS certification License required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer Must be able to scan pediatric patients MSK knowledge is a plus Epic EMR experience preferred Additional Information Black scrubs required Local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate 50-mile radius rule applies for travel pay eligibility Returning employees may be considered 12 months after their last worked shift
