Vascular Sonographer

Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Vascular Technologist, Vascular Sonography (Evening Shift) in South Charleston, West Virginia. Location South Charleston, WV Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift This position requires evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating weekend coverage.

There are no holiday requirements and no call or standby requirements at this time.

The Registered Vascular Technologist will conduct all vascular procedures within the department, utilizing Philips ultrasound equipment currently, with a transition to GE equipment expected within six weeks. The department operates with four ultrasound machines and relies on Meditech/agfa PACS for documentation. Responsibilities Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound studies.

Document and maintain accurate records of examinations. Collaborate with vascular surgeons for procedure evaluations. Required Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular sonography is required.

Certifications/Licensure Current BLS certification is required. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
