Education
✓Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.
✓High School Diploma/GED plus 2 yeas' customer service or healthcare experience.
Qualifications
✓Must be able to perform all duties of the Access Coordinator I and II level
✓Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, imaging (MRI, CT), and diagnostic tests.
✓Coordinate pre-op and post-op visits for neurosurgery or other procedures.
✓Work with providers to manage complex care plans across specialties (neurology, radiology, physical therapy, etc.).
✓Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
✓Obtain prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, or specialist referrals.
✓Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding coverage issues or delays.
✓Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams.
✓Provide patients with instructions related to appointments, procedures, or referrals.
✓This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
✓A criminal conviction or arrest pending adjudication alone shall not disqualify an applicant except as provided by law.
