Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

The Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery APP supports the Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery team in providing comprehensive care to patients across the continuum—from inpatient consultation and surgical management to ambulatory post-operative follow-up. The APP functions as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. Primary
Ambulatory / Outpatient
Conduct independent post-operative and follow-up visits in the clinic setting under the supervision of the attending foot and ankle surgeon. Evaluate wound healing, remove sutures/staples, manage dressings and casts, and adjust orthoses or immobilization devices as needed. Assess pain control, neurovascular status, and functional progress; provide patient education regarding activity advancement, rehabilitation protocols, and return-to-work timelines.
Order and interpret imaging or laboratory studies as clinically indicated. Communicate clinical findings and updates to the attending surgeon and care team to ensure continuity of care. Participate in resident education in the post operative care setting.

Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
