JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation:- Graduate from accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
Certification & Licensures:- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri or Current license as a Physician's Assistant.- BLS CertificationExperience:- Three years' experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferred in Family Medicine.- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations- Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions- Ability to learn and efficiency utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programsADDITIONAL INFORMATIONWhy Work at Saint Francis?
