The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice. They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff. The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.
EDUCATION / TRAINING /
Minimum:Graduate of a Family Nurse Practitioner program or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. (New graduates may be considered with prior experience in pediatrics and/or NICU)Desired:Bilingual in SpanishAcute care pediatric and or NICU experienceExperience with intubation and placing emergency umbilical linesLICENSES /
