Location: UF Health Leesburg Hospital600 East Dixie Ave Leesburg, Florida 34748
7:45am - 4:15pmEmployment Type: PRN Under general supervision of the Laboratory Director, Pathologist, and Histology Manager, the Anatomic Pathology Assistant performs, but is not limited to: computer accessioning of surgical, cytology, and flow cytometry specimens, possesses exceptional customer service skills with outside physicians’ offices and medical staff, faxes and scans documents, schedules frozen section procedures, fills supply orders for AP clients, orders specimen pick-ups with lab couriers, has medical terminology knowledge, familiarity with ICD-9/10 and CPT codes, performs Cytology processing, when needed.
