✓American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification upon hire or within the first month of employment.
✓Successful completion of certification examination requirements established by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓At least two years of experience as an anesthesia technician or relevant operating-room experience.
✓Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting anesthesia machines, monitors, airway devices, and related equipment.
Experience supporting complex anesthesia cases in a large academic medical center or Level I trauma environment. preferred
Previous experience training or mentoring anesthesia technicians. preferred
