OverviewJoin an Experienced, Collaborative Sleep Medicine Team Excellent opportunity to join a team-oriented group of Advanced Practice Providers and Sleep Medicine Neurologists caring for patients with a broad range of sleep disorders in beautiful Peoria, Illinois.

Our established Sleep Medicine practice includes neurologists who specialize in sleep medicine and six experienced Advanced Practice Providers. This collaborative team environment provides the opportunity to work closely with sleep specialists while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Position DetailsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PMSee a majority of return patients, along with select new patients referred for sleep evaluationsWork collaboratively with Sleep Medicine Neurologists and experienced APP colleaguesParticipate in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with sleep disordersParticipate in quality improvement initiativesSupport high-quality, cost-effective patient careMaintain timely, accurate, and up-to-date medical documentationComply with all required hospital and outpatient department policies and proceduresAPP ResponsibilitiesObtain comprehensive patient historiesPerform physical examinationsConduct comprehensive patient assessmentsOrder, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testingFormulate diagnostic impressionsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansMonitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventionsPrescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatmentsFacilitate appropriate consultations and referralsProvide patient counseling and educationCollaborate with Sleep Medicine Neurologists and the multidisciplinary care teamPromote quality care while supporting appropriate resource utilization BENEFITS & PERKS OSF HealthCare offers a comprehensive Compensation and Total Rewards Package which includes: Generous paid time off!

This is a salaried position. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant StudiesCurrent national certification as an APRN or PACurrent Illinois licensure as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, or Physician AssistantCurrent BLS certification; assistance with obtaining certification may be availableExcellent communication, interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skillsStrong commitment to teamwork, patient-centered care, and clinical excellenceOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
