Appointment Scheduling Specialist – Family Care 18444Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together**** Work location: 757 E Us Hwy 80 Ste180, Forney Tx 75126Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 6:45am – 3:45pm Family Care 18444 highlights:· Great work environment· Collaborative team approach· Fast paced Family care clinic Here’s What You NeedEducation· High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) Experience· 2 years related experience in healthcare environment (Preferred)· Previous Customer Service experience (Strongly Preferred)

· Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.· Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.· Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.· Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests.· May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance.· Gathers insurance information and patient personal data.· Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts.

Performs other duties as assigned.
