Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in the ED. Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans. Administer treatments and medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses.
Provide family-centered care by effectively communicating with patients' families, addressing their concerns, and involving them in the decision-making process. Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and educational activities to enhance team knowledge and clinical practice. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance pediatric critical care practices.
Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification and licensure in the state of Florida. Master's degree in Nursing (PNP-AC) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) from an accredited program. Clinical Master’s Degree in Nursing or DNP Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or PA Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP) Current National Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care if a NP
