Under the direction of the Nurse Manager within the Maternal Child Care (MCC) Service Line, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) leads daily operations in the maternal child, nursery, labor & delivery, and med surg overflow nursing areas; including staffing, patient flow, service recovery, staff accountability, communication, and frontline support. The ANM maintains a visible leadership presence, removes operational barriers, reinforces department expectations and organizational priorities, and partners with leadership and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.
This role supports progress toward key goals, including but not limited to patient experience, quality outcomes, productivity, employee engagement, throughput, and regulatory compliance
